The qualified rate of Hunan leather footwear inspection is only 57.5%

According to the footwear sampling inspection report issued by the Quality Supervision Bureau of Hunan Province in early September, it said that of the 120 batches of shoes and travel shoes that were spot checked, 69 batches were qualified, and the qualified rate accounted for 57.5%, which was a year-on-year increase of 14.5%.

Although the passing rate of this spot check has been improved, but overall, it is still at a relatively low level, said Chen Hongbin, deputy chief of Hunan Provincial Quality Supervision and Inspection Station for Leather Products. The failure to meet the criteria of folding performance is the main quality issue of footwear products, and this is an important item to measure the quality of footwear products. It indicates that the length of the plastic, broken bottom or slit after the folding test of the shoes exceeds the standard requirements. "The problem that footwear products do not meet the standard for endurance performance exists year after year, but this year is even more prominent. 51 unqualified products are the same problem," said Chen Hongbin.

Chen Hongbin introduced several key indicators to measure the pros and cons of footwear: First of all, it is necessary to look at the endurance performance of shoes, and the folding endurance performance should meet the standards of QB/T1002-2005 or GB/T15107-2005; secondly, we must pay attention to outsole resistance. Grinding performance, wear resistance mainly reflect the degree of wear of the sole, with reference to GB/T3903.2 method for inspection; again to see the bottom peel strength, leather shoes peel strength is an important indicator of the quality of leather shoes or travel shoes. In recent years, consumer complaints about footwear have also been caused by degumming. Chen Hongbin also stated that these seemingly professional indicators can provide intuitive results through the bending and folding of footwear products during the purchase of shoes by consumers.
