Japan's ShinanoKenshi Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture) has developed a general-purpose electromagnetically driven piston pump "MicroPumpAqua" that can self-prime even if it is mixed with gas in the liquid delivery line. The product will be available for sampling at the end of June 2006. Typically, this reciprocating piston pump is prone to noise, and this time the new product utilizes a unique electronic control method and optimized valve design to achieve superior quietness. It is suitable for various types of liquids such as water pipe water and propylene glycol antifreeze in terms of high flow rate. Mass production is scheduled to begin in January 2007.
The new pump introduces water into the pump even without water, so you don't have to worry about mixing in the gas, you can use it with confidence. Therefore, there are fewer restrictions on the attitude conditions and use conditions of the real Machine . Moreover, due to its small size, in the real machine design of the embedded micropump, not only the degree of freedom of configuration is high, but also a space-saving design can be realized.
Magnetic force is used for power transmission. The piston can be driven without sliding seals, thus ensuring high sealing performance over the long term. The main specifications are as follows: the power supply voltage is DC 7.5 ~ 13.2V, and the drive frequency is 15Hz. The maximum flow rate is 400mL/min (DC12V drive, pipe water at normal temperature). The maximum pressure is 12kPa (same as above) and the life is more than 8000 hours (ibid.). The material complies with the RoHS Directive.
