Process Quality Control of Aluminum Alloy Cylinder Head Gravity Casting

In the aluminum alloy casting industry, the aluminum alloy cylinder head of the automobile engine is a casting with complicated structure and uneven wall thickness. The wall thickness of the casting is generally 3.0-4.5mm (only about 2.5mm at the thinnest part), dimensional accuracy and mechanical properties. The requirements are high, and the structure and shape of different types of engine cylinder heads vary widely. Therefore, the casting process of the aluminum cylinder head is difficult, and the good yield is only about 85%.
