What is RF card (RF card)

The RF card is in a non-contact operation state during reading and writing, which avoids mis-operations such as read/write errors due to poor contact, and avoids the influence of dust, oil, and other external harsh environments on the reading and writing of cards.

The operation is simple and fast - The RF card adopts the wireless communication mode and no direction is required for use, so it is very convenient to use.

Anti-collision - RF card contains a quick anti-collision mechanism to prevent data interference between cards, so the terminal can handle multiple cards at the same time.

Easy to use with one card: There are multiple partitions in the RF card, and each partition has its own password, so you can use different partitions for different applications to implement multiple cards.

Compared with contact IC cards, RF cards have the following advantages:

High reliability - There is no mechanical contact between the card and the reader, avoiding all kinds of failures due to contact reading and writing. For example: due to rough card insertion, non-card inserts, dust, oil, etc.

There is no exposed chip on the surface of the card, and there is no need to worry about chips falling off, electrostatic breakdown, bending damage, etc.

Convenient and quick operation - Due to non-contact communication, the reader can operate the card within the range of 1cm to 10cm, so there is no need to perform plugging and unplugging work like an IC card. When the contactless card is used, there is no directivity, and the card can be swept in any direction. Through the surface of the reader, the speed of each use can be greatly improved;

Anti-collision - RF card has a quick anti-collision mechanism to prevent data interference between cards, so the reader can "simultaneously" handle multiple non-contact RF cards;

Wide range of applications - The memory card structure of the RF card makes it a multi-purpose card; can be applied to different systems, users set different passwords and access conditions according to different applications;

Encryption performance is good - the serial number of the RF card is unique, the manufacturer has fixed the serial number before leaving the factory and cannot be changed;

A two-way verification mechanism is adopted between the RF card and the reader, that is, the reader verifies the legitimacy of the radio card. At the same time, the radio card also verifies the legitimacy of the reader. Before processing, the card must be mutually authenticated with the reader for three times. And all data is encrypted during communication. In addition, each sector in the card has its own operating password and access conditions.

At present, RF cards have been widely used at home and abroad, such as bus and subway toll collection systems in Seoul, Brazil and Canada. China's cities such as Shanghai, Zhuhai, and Taiyuan have also issued bus cards, as well as highway tolls, parking fees, access control systems, time and attendance systems, and shopping toll collection systems, which are widely used in every part of our lives.
