The development of China's photovoltaic industry relies heavily on the international market, and 96% of photovoltaic products are exported. Once the international market experiences large fluctuations, it will affect the healthy development of the entire industry chain. Since the outbreak of the international financial crisis, the global photovoltaic product market has shrunk to a large extent, which has led to a sharp decline in the export volume of China's photovoltaic products.

Meng Xianyi, deputy director of the China Renewable Energy Society, said that starting the domestic market is a gradual and long-term process. There are three forces that are very important. The first is the government's policy promotion, the second is social awareness, participation and support, and the third is business and market. Only when these three forces unite and act together can this enterprise do a good job. "For example, we have put forward the "two high and one left" criticism of polysilicon. In fact, if we study it in depth, we can find that this is not necessarily the case. The society needs to have a positive attitude towards this issue."

Sun Yuxiang, chairman of Shandong Yucheng New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., said that the most extensive use of clean energy should be driven by the government and then to ordinary consumers. Therefore, the government should make some investments so that the scale of production of photovoltaic companies can be expanded and the scale of application can be expanded. The cost will be reduced and the domestic market will open. “In this way, the government has also invested, and the benefits have also been seen. Our manufacturers have survived, and our people have also lived a low-carbon, green, and environmentally friendly life.”
