Some manufacturers responded by saying “I don’t believe me that you can submit for inspection” and some manufacturers responded by saying “where are we failing” and stated that they have passed the tests themselves.

According to the announcement, the spot inspection of wood-based panel products mainly examined 358 batches of wood-based panel products produced by 238 companies in 17 regions including Guangzhou and Zhongshan, and 49 batches of unqualified inspections, involving 3 batches manufactured by Zhongshan. , involving three unqualified items such as “tree species”, “surface-resistant” and “surface-resistant”.

According to the relevant person in charge of the quality supervision department, there were 4 batches of wood-based panel products that were listed on the list due to unqualified “formaldehyde emission” items. Although Zhongshan Manufacturing did not address the issue of formaldehyde emission exceeding the standard, because it directly affects the health of the public, “need special attention”.
