Transmission line

The transmission is realized by boosting the electric energy generated by the generator with a transformer, and then accessing the transmission line through a control device such as a circuit breaker. According to the structure, the transmission lines are divided into overhead transmission lines and underground lines. Overhead power lines are routed through towers, wires, insulators, etc., and are placed above the ground. Underground lines are mainly laid on underground (or under water) using cables. Overhead lines are easy to set up and maintain, and the cost is low. However, they are easily affected by meteorology and environment (such as high winds, lightning strikes, pollution, etc.), and they also have shortcomings such as occupying land area and causing electromagnetic interference. The underground line does not have the disadvantages of the above-mentioned overhead lines, but the cost is high, and it is inconvenient to find faults and maintenance. Power transmission over overhead lines is the primary method. Underground lines are mostly used in areas where overhead lines are difficult to erect, such as cities or special spans.
