Russia develops polymer for 3D printing robots

Svetlana Hasherova, director of the Advanced Polymers New Materials Laboratory at Kabardad-Balkaria State University in Russia, said that Russian scientists have developed polymers for 3D printing that can use this material to print drones, Robots and prostheses.

Hachirova said that using this material, artificial limbs with human characteristics can be manufactured through 3D printing. This material can also be used for 3D printing of drones, individual exoskeletons, automotive parts and machinery, robotic equipment complex components, or space suit components.

This material has the characteristics of anti-chemical, heat insulation, temperature resistance, anti-freeze, etc. It can be used in high temperature and strong radiation environment, so it can be widely used in aerospace, automotive manufacturing, oil and natural gas and other fields.
