Pay attention to "eight defenses" in winter pesticides

From time to winter, in order to prevent the poor storage of surplus pesticides, causing poisoning or waste of human and animal, according to the author's experience, the pesticides should be kept in mind during the winter storage.

First, we must prevent accidents. Pesticides are toxic and volatile. It should be placed in a counter or wooden box, locked outside, labeled, and managed by a person. Pesticides should not be in the same room as food, vegetables and feed, and should not be put together with flammable and explosive materials such as firecrackers, gunpowder, engine oil, diesel oil, gas, etc., so as to avoid accidents such as poisoning and explosion.

Second, it is necessary to prevent evaporation. Liquid pesticides such as dimethoate, dichlorvos, phoxim, chlorfenapyr, and acetamiprid are easily volatilized and cause air pollution. When farmers keep such pesticides in winter, they must tighten the caps to prevent the volatilization of pesticides caused by factors such as humidity, light and temperature.

Third, we must prevent mixing. The pesticide is acid, medium and alkaline. Acidic dichlorvos, bromethrin, etc.; neutral triazophos, insecticidal double, 螟 净 、, sharp Jinte, etc.; alkaline Bordeaux mixture, stone sulphur mixture, agricultural streptomycin, thiabium copper and so on. These three different pesticides should be stored separately during storage in winter (preferably 2 meters or more apart), and the two pesticides that cannot be used can not be mixed in one bottle to avoid failure.

Fourth, it is necessary to prevent moisture. 50% compound sclerotium net wettable powder, 40% Fuji 1st, 75% 瘟 瘟 and 50% ceke pine WP can easily absorb moisture and agglomerate. Therefore, in the winter, the powder pesticide should be kept dry or open to the window for ventilation.

Five must prevent freezing. After the "Winter Solstice", as the temperature drops, in order to prevent the liquid pesticide bottle from freezing and agglomerating after the ice is frozen, it can be covered with wheat straw or clam shell or stored indoors for 1 meter deep. However, the wheat straw and clam shell used to cover the insulation can no longer be used as livestock feed.

Six to prevent loss of the label. In order to prevent unclear misuse and cause accidents, in the preservation of various types of pesticides in winter, be careful to protect the labels and find that the labels are blurred or lost. The labels should be subsidized and marked in time.

Seven to prevent exposure. Powder pesticides are easy to melt at high temperatures and decompose and volatilize; emulsion pesticides will also destroy their emulsifying properties and reduce the efficacy when exposed to high temperatures. In particular, pesticides such as chlorpyrifos, insecticidal bismuth, triazophos, ruthenium, and phoxim are most afraid of sunlight. If exposed to light for a long time, it will cause decomposition and deterioration of pesticides.

Eight must be treated with anti-drugs. Most pesticides will decompose in the presence of alkali, causing the efficacy to be reduced. Many nitrogen fertilizers, combined with ammonium bicarbonate, ammonium nitrate and the like, can be combined with ammonia gas to form an alkaline substance. Winter pesticides and fertilizers cannot be stored in the same room.
