PE (Chinese name: polyethylene):
Sensory identification: soft to the touch: white transparent, but the transparency is general, often with tape and printed words. (Note: Tape and printed words are inevitable, but be sure to control their content, as these will affect the price in the market)
It is milky white translucent when uncolored, waxy; it feels slippery when touched by hand, soft and tough; slightly stretchable. Generally, low density polyethylene is soft and has good transparency; high density polyethylene is hard.
PP (polypropylene):
Sensory identification: This product is white transparent and has higher transparency than LDPE.
It is white translucent when uncolored, waxy; lighter than polyethylene. Transparency is also better than polyethylene and harder than polyethylene.
PVC film (polychlorinated)
The natural color is yellowish translucent and shiny. Transparency is better than polyethylene, polyphenylene, worse than polystyrene. It is divided into soft and hard polyvinyl chloride according to the amount of additives. The soft products are soft and tough, and the hand feels sticky. The hardness of hard products is higher than that of low density polyethylene. However, below polypropylene, whitening occurs at the bend.
Polystyrene PS
Transparent when not colored. The product is grounded or beaten, with a metal-like crisp sound, good gloss and transparency. Similar to glass, it is brittle and easy to break. Fingernails can be used to mark the surface of the product. The modified polystyrene is opaque.
Polyethylene terephthalate PET
The transparency is very good, the strength and toughness are better than polystyrene and polyvinyl chloride, and it is not easy to be broken. The white is transparent, the hand feels hard, and there is a sound when it is smashing. Appears like PP.
