Gas explosion method

Gas, also known as biogas, is chemically named methane. It is a colorless, odorless. Odorless, flammable, explosive gas. If the concentration of gas in the air is between 16% and 5.5%, an explosion can occur in the presence of an open flame. Gas explosions produce high temperature, high pressure, shock waves, and emit toxic gases.

On-site rescue:

When you hear or see a gas explosion, you should immediately fall back to the location of the explosion. If there is water in front of you, you should lie prone or lying on the water and cover your mouth with a wet towel. After taking the self-rescue measures mentioned above, the operators who are close to the explosion center are quickly evacuated from the site to prevent the occurrence of secondary explosions.

Immediately after the gas explosion, all power sources leading to the accident site should be cut off, ventilation should be resumed, and various open and residual fires should be extinguished to prevent another explosion. All survivors should evacuation from the danger zone uniformly and calmly after the accident. In case of carbon monoxide poisoning, it should be promptly transferred to a well-ventilated and safe area. If there is a heartbeat or respiratory arrest, perform an artificial heart-lung recovery immediately at a safe place. Do not delay the rescue timing.

How to prevent underground gas explosions?

To enhance underground ventilation, various ventilation measures shall be adopted to ensure that underground gas does not exceed the specified content, a strict inspection system shall be inspected, at least 2 inspections shall be conducted for each shift in low gas wells, and at least 3 inspections shall be conducted for each shift in the high gas mines, and harmful gases shall be found to exceed regulations. Closed and other necessary measures should be taken promptly. Every miner should pay attention that it is forbidden to carry cigarette butts and ignition items when going down, and do not use electric stoves and light bulbs for heating.
