Exterior wall coating standards will be officially implemented

Recently, the reporter learned about the national standard for the upgrading of exterior paints. The new standard is GB/T 9755-2014 Synthetic Resin Emulsion Exterior Wall Coating. This standard will be formally implemented on December 1, 2014. The standard has been used instead of 13 Year 2001's national standard GB/T 9755-2001. Compared with the old standards, the new standard has made many adjustments to the content and more stringently stipulated exterior wall paint products.

The technical differences are as follows:

1. Added product classification 2. Added requirements for primers and intermediate paints;

3、The top coat has increased permeability test items;

4. The resistance of alkali paint, water resistance, temperature change resistance and artificial weather resistance of topcoat can also be evaluated to evaluate the performance of the composite coating after the primer or the primer and the middle paint are matched.

5. Changed the test method and substrate of washable items;

6, test the substrate asbestos cement board to non-asbestos cement plate;

7, coating stain resistance test method has changed slightly.
