Zinc can increase the stress resistance of cotton. For example, at 40-45 °C, the tissue necrosis rate of zinc is reduced by 1.6-2.2% compared with that without zinc, and by 9.5-10.6% at 55-60 °C. It can also enhance the ability of cotton to resist yellow and blight.
3. Application of zinc fertilizer: The application of zinc fertilizer should be based on the effect of basic application. Generally, before the cotton is planted or planted, the soil fertilizer can be applied to the soil by applying 1-1.5 kg of zinc sulfate as the base fertilizer, and it can also be sprayed during the flowering and ringing period of cotton. Apply 60-70 kg of 0.2% zinc sulphate solution per acre and spray 2-3 times.
